The American Library Association's favorite websites for kids and parents!  This collection of websites can be browsed by subjects including animals, math, science, art, history and more.

Arlington Historical Society 
A community resource about Arlington throughout time.  Connect with the Smith Museum and Russell House, learn about upcoming programs and more.

Britannica Online School Edition for Students 
A library database that provides easy-to-search encyclopedias, dictionaries, biographies atlases, and more!  Includes pictures, videos, games and links to helpful websites.

Gale In Context: Elementary
A library database that targets research needs of students in Kindergarten through Grade 5. Subjects include the arts, animals, plants, science and technology, sports, music and movies, social sciences and more!

Mango Languages
A library database that helps kids and grown-ups learn a new language!  Mango focuses on four areas of learning: vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation and culture.  56 language courses are available as well as ELL courses.

National Geographic for Kids 

The magazine's online resource for kids includes videos, photographs, Werid But True facts about the travel, science, history, and more.

Novelist 
A library database that helps kids and grown-ups find their next read!  Search for your favorite authors and titles to find read-alike suggestions. 

PBS Kids
A collection of games, activities and more featuring for kids and parents featuring favorite picture book characters like Arthur, Curious George and Thomas the Tank Engine.  

Rosetta Stone
Use Rosetta Stone's award-winning interactive method to learn a new language!  Lessons build reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills in 30 languages. Log in with your Arlington library card number when prompted for library ID.
